Tia Faraon is the 2013-2014 President of the Filipino American Student Association. She's currently a junior pursuing a major in Psychology and is interested in a career in Public Health. Aside from FASA, Tia is a member of the Health Sciences Scholars Program and is an actor for the UM Educational Theatre Company. Tia also represents FASA as the community historian for the United Asian American Organization.
Chris Paclibar is the the 2013-2014 Vice President for FASA. She is currently a junior majoring in Neuroscience. Chris also works as a lab assistant at the U of M Cancer Center. As an active member and previous Co-social Chair for FASA, she is certainly excited to see what this upcoming year will bring. #FASAlove
Kyle Lee is this year’s Treasurer for the Filipino American Student Association. He is currently a junior studying biomedical engineering. He also works in a lab constructing nanoparticles for precision drug delivery. Outside of FASA you will see him shredding the piano, tearing kids apart in soccer, and pulling ladies across campus.
Kevin is the 2013-2014 Secretary of the Filipino American Student Association. He is currently a junior majoring in Political Science and minoring in History and Asian/Pacific Islander American Studies. Apart from his commitment to FASA, he is an active member in the Kappa Omega Alpha Pre-Law Professional Fraternity and a Research Assistant in the Department of Political Science. He enjoys long walks on the beach, playing and watching basketball, jamming on the ukulele, dancing, and reading in his spare time.
Josephine is the 2013-2014 Co-Social Chair for the Filipino American Student Association. She is currently a Pre-Health sophomore majoring in Chemistry. Along with being an active member of FASA, she works for the Michigan Union and also as a part-time “booty” model. In her spare time, she likes to work out, cook, hang wit da boo thang, and is superb at eating. She’s not a billionaire yet, but she knows she’s going to be darling at it.
Kevin is the 2013-2014 Co-Social Chair for the Filipino American Student Association. He is currently in the College of Engineering majoring in Computer Science. Aside from being an active member in FASA, Kevin was also a part of the Business Division of the Solar Car Team and will be part of the Global Scholars Program of the 2013-2014 year. He is always up for new experiences and enjoys eating food, playing volleyball, and meeting new people.
Jessica is the 2013-2014 Co-Cultural Chair of the Filipino American Student Association. She is currently a sophomore pursuing a major in Neuroscience with the intention to double major in Spanish. Jessica is also involved in the Health Science Scholars Program as a Peer Advisor, volunteers at the Children’s Mott Hospital, and consumes excessive amounts of Nutella and chocolate. She also enjoys playing tennis and volleyball, reading for fun, and has a strange addiction to watching Korean dramas.
Katalina is the 2013-2014 Co-Cultural Chair of the Filipino American Student Association. She is a sophomore pursuing a major in communications in the College of Literature, Science & the Arts. She represented the organization as Ms. FASA in the Mr. and Ms. APA Pageant last year and placed third. She was also voted Rookie of the Year in the UAAO A/PIA awards. As you can see, she loves FASA a lot. Obvi.
Andrea is the current Performance Chair for FASA for the 2013-2014 school year. She is a Pre-Med junior majoring in Movement Science in the School of Kinesiology. Andrea was also previously a Co-Cultural Chair for FASA. She likes bubble tea (it’s all about dat taro man), playing and watching basketball (GO BLUE!), dancing with her FASA homies (obvs), buying school supplies (so Asian), and eating food (eating ALL the food!).
Delaney is the 2013-2014 Service Chair and Historian of the Filipino American Student Association. She is a sophomore working towards a major in International Studies. Outside of FASA, she volunteers at the Boys and Girls Club and plays in just about every intramural sports league possible. She also enjoys reading, painting, swimming, and negating her workouts with large amounts of food.
This will be Allister’s second year on e-board. He is a senior majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Chinese. He aspires to go to Medical School while eventually becoming a Surgeon. As a volunteer in a research lab, as well as Social Chair for the Theta Xi Fraternity he fills his free time with ultimate frisbee, excessive eating, and enjoying long nights at his home away from home, the Ugli.
